Pretty Awesome
As somebody who enjoys watching all those shows about talented individuals making themselves look like fools, I always felt quite compelled to like Terry Fator. His performance on America’s Got Talent was pretty awesome, and his quality performance led to plenty of people really taking him to their hearts – ever since his success on TV, Terry Fator has been performing a series of shows all around the place. At the moment, though, he’s been performing his new show – the Voice of Entertainment – at the Mirage in Las Vegas. Well, I went to take a look and see what I thought of Fator – was he still as good as he was on my TV?
For a start, his comedy act is pretty awesome. I’m a fan of his sense of humor and obviously his work with ventriloquist dolls is pretty special. His overall quality of act has improved massively, and after he’s done more than 1,000 shows in Las Vegas it’s no surprise it’s came on so much. In truth, I’d kind of lost track of Terry after his TV debut but I’m glad I went along to this as it was great to see that a genuine performer, who is absolutely amazing at impressions, was willing to improve & diversify his act to make sure the crowd enjoyed what he was up to.
Genuine Performer
While I used to find dolls as a cheap get out, I must say that Fator pulled it off well in the past and he’s still doing so now – his flow is great when it comes to coming up with things for the dolls to say, and his own impressions & style have come on leaps & bounds since I last saw him. He’s a confident guy, obviously, and his act needs no refinement with a load of fresh new gags and great one-liners in there.
It’s something I enjoyed very much and although I’m not a huge one for going out to events like this, if you find yourself on the strip and need something to do I’d recommend popping through to see Terry Fator at Las Vegas. He’s great crack and his hilarious trains of thought are well worth going to see, purely if you just want to see a man with hilarious levels of energy go from one extreme to the next – he’s all action, but he’s certainly worth more than a few laughs.
